Building the ISS
The International Space Station is the most complex scientific and technological endeavor ever undertaken. Clay Anderson's stay on board the ISS saw second and third starboard truss segments, another pair of solar arrays and the Italian-built U.S. multi-port module added. Since Clay's return construction has continued at a hectic pace! The European Space Agency's Columbus Science lab has been added, soon to be followed by the Japanese Kibo lab. The Canadian Space Agency's robotic "hand" (Dextre) will complete the Station’s Mobile Servicing System.
